Jazz Piano Players!! 

Here is a great video showing what a Jazz piano player should be doing during the Bb blues. "Comping" is a way of playing chords in the background in a Jazz group as a part of the rhythm section. The chords and background that a pianist plays in a Jazz group is called "comping." Watch the video - VERY INFORMATIVE!
